FLI Precast Solutions Ltd were contracted to Design, Manufacture and Supply Bespoke Beams and Cover Slabs for HOCHTIEF-MURPHY Joint Venture (HMJV)’s Bengeworth Road Tunnelling Access Shaft as part of their contract on National Grid’s London Power Tunnels Phase 2.
The beams were large-scale (>35T) with bespoke detailing required and the cover slabs were a series of complex shapes including curved sections, cast-in couplers, and protruding reinforcement.
